Story Summary

Responsibility doesn't mean doing it all alone. Panadería Luna has opened at six every morning for nineteen years. Then Lucía's mother needs surgery and eight weeks of rest. If the bakery closes, people could lose their jobs, and the regulars might never come back. Lucía is twelve, but she's determined to keep the doors open. A story about responsibility and time management. Ages 10-13, Grades 5-8.
