About this story
Billie, a little blue boat, loves sailing the calm, sparkling harbor with friends: Finn the fish, Greta the seagull, Otto the old lighthouse, and Marina the harbor seal. Then one morning a mysterious green fog creeps across the water, Otto blinks his warning light three times, and a huge wave comes WHOOSH-ing toward the harbor. 'I can't do this!' thinks Billie — until Marina calls out the lesson that changes everything: 'Lean into the wave, not away! Find your balance!' When the fog finally lifts, it reveals a surprise that needs Billie's new courage most of all: a tiny lost baby boat, crying and alone. A gentle adventure about steadiness, bravery, and helping scared new friends.

- Signal — a message sent with lights or sounds, like Otto blinking three times
- Fog — a thick cloud low on the water that hides things
- Mystery — something strange you don't understand yet
- Rock — to tilt side to side, like a boat on waves
- Lean — to tilt your body toward something
- Balance — staying steady instead of tipping over
