About this story
On the last rainy afternoon of summer, four best friends — brave Zara, strong Finn, brilliant Priya, and little Coco, who is braver than she knows — find a map rolled inside a cracked glass bottle in Zara's grandmother's attic. Drawn on golden parchment, it shows a tear-shaped island in six colored zones — red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet — with a glittering star at its center: THE LOST TREASURE OF RAINBOW ISLAND. By dawn they're sailing Grandmother's little boat, the Sea Sparrow, toward an island that shouldn't exist — and it does: bands of color sweeping the landscape like paint spilled from the sky. But each zone holds a guardian with a challenge: at the Red Cliffs, a Fire Fox with fur like living flame sets them a rule — carry the Flame Stone to the top, but none of you may hold it alone. A rainbow-bright adventure about teamwork, where the only way through is together.
