About this story
Maya, Alex, Sofia, and Jordan climb the creaky stairs to their school attic, where dust dances in the sunlight and old treasures wait to be found. Inside a wooden box, something glows: a beautiful compass that doesn't point north at all. Its needle spins wildly, then stops on a glowing word — CONFIDENCE — and a doorway opens in the attic wall. Beyond it waits a shaky bridge over a deep ravine, and Maya takes a deep breath: 'I can do this.' With each crossing, the compass turns to a new word and a new challenge: INNOVATION, when a mechanical gate is missing a gear and Alex invents a cardboard one from Sofia's notebook; OBJECTIVE, when a stone wall offers three answers that all seem correct, and only careful, factual thinking reveals the true one. A quest-style chapter adventure where the treasure isn't gold — it's the thinking skills the compass keeps pointing to.
