About this story
In a warm, grassy corner of the savanna lives Ollie, a young elephant with a big heart and an even bigger dream: to fly. 'Elephants don't fly,' laughs his friend Sparrow — but Ollie's dream doesn't listen to 'can't.' So the friends try everything: leaf wings tied on by Sparrow (flap, flap, flop, into the mud), a running start from Squirrel (one glorious second, then thump into a ticklish bush), and fast-flapping ears on Bee's advice (dust everywhere, feet still on the ground). Then quiet Spider, watching from her web, offers the best idea of all: don't pick just one idea — use a little bit of everything, woven together. A joyful story about persistence, creative thinking, and friends who build with you.
